Signs from God

Tuesday, August 19, 2008

The pope's comments about driving aside, maybe it'd be good to have some road signs reminding us of how to be good, moral Christians.

Artist Deborah Grumet has created just that: posters of the 10 Commandments illustrated with "road signs."

I'm not sure I understand the sign for "keep holy the Sabbath"--do watch TV to keep it holy?

But I particularly like the signs for "thou shall not kill"--directed specifically at Miss Scarlet, Professor Plum, and the rest of the gang who use candlesticks as their murder weapon of choice while in the conservatory.

Thanks to Locusts and Honey for finding this.
