Prayerful places
Is there a particular spot that you like to go for prayer? Perhaps there’s a corner of your church or a peaceful park where it is easy for you to find God. Maybe you like to trek to a mountain top to revere God’s creation or find prayerful respite in a quiet and simply adorned room. Wherever it is that you go for spiritual reflection, we’d like you to share your secret sanctuary with us by sending in a photo of it to U.S. Catholic.
For our third Meditation Room feature, we are turning to photography instead of essays. We will select the best photos based on content and composition and publish them in an upcoming issue of U.S. Catholic magazine. If your photo isn't selected for our print magazine, it may be featured on our website.
There are two ways you can enter your photo:
1. Join our Visual Mediation Room Flickr group and add your photo. This is the easiest option if you are already on Flickr. If you don’t have a Flickr account, click here to learn more about how.
2. Email a high res photo to editors@uscatholic.org.
However you choose to get your photo to us, we ask that you include a short caption that tells us where you like to pray and why. Please also include your contact information so we can be in touch should we select your photograph. (If you add your photo to the Flickr group, we will send a message to your Flickr profile, so please be sure to check it regularly.)
