Game 1 of the World Series between the Boston Red Sox and the St. Louis Cardinals is tonight, and Cardinal O'Malley of Boston has bet St. Louis Archbishop Robert J. Carlson $100 that the Sox will win the series.

The losing archbishop will donate the $100 to Catholic Charities, so it seems that whoever loses, Catholic Charities wins. $100 at least.
